E-flyer Procedures
PLEASE BE SURE TO REVIEW
NON-NEGOTIABLE FOR ALL FLYER TYPES:
- Must be visual in nature, a .jpg, .png, or .PDF format, portrait orientation, minimum 12pt font, sized 8.5x11 in., and no more than 50MB
- Must NOT include references, logos, photos, or mentions of guns, weapons, alcohol, drugs, political parties, curse words, slang, sexual content, graphic/frightening/gory images, or other inappropriate content. Military flyers should use logos and alternative photos instead of weapons wherever possible; some exceptions may be discussed with our Communications Department.
Exceptions: Information flyers for educational programs focused on NOT using one of these items, so the prohibited item or graphic is covered with a prohibited “no symbol.”
DIRECTIONS FOR SUBMISSION FOR TYPE 1 & TYPE 2 FLYERS:
After reviewing our and obtaining any needed facility rentals or approvals, submitters should provide the following information in an email to beard.mallory@tusd.org (TYPE 1) or the school office staff (TYPE 2).
Note: School and district-sponsored flyer requests should be submitted at least 5 business days prior to the targeted distribution date and at least 7-10 business days before the event to ensure successful attendance.
- Which schools do you need the flyer sent to?
- You may refer to these lists of schools to submit your desired schools:
Elementary, Middle, High Schools, Adult Schools
(Note: You may also just name one of the four quadrant areas, which include Central, West, North, and South. So, for example, if you select the West quadrant and all grades, your flyer will be sent to West High, Bert Lynn Middle, Jefferson Middle, Victor Elementary, Towers Elementary, and Anza Elementary)
- You may refer to these lists of schools to submit your desired schools:
- Which grades do you need the flyer sent to?
- When are you hoping the flyer will be distributed (the earliest may not be until the following week)?
- Attach a .jpg, .png, or .PDF format, portrait orientation, minimum 12pt font, sized 8.5x11in., and no more than 50MB copy of your flyer, which MUST include the following information:
- Who is invited
- What is the event name
- When it will take place (DATE AND START TIME)
- Where it will take place (Include address)
- How to RSVP, register, or purchase tickets if needed
- A contact email, phone number, or website for more information
- If you are sending to North High, 海棠直播 El, Shery, Carr, Casimir, Magruder, 海棠直播 High, or Hull to comply with the California Education Code (Ed Code), you must include a Spanish translation of your flyer. If you are sending to Hickory, you must have both Spanish and Japanese. If you do not have a translation service, please contact beard.mallory@tusd.org to discuss.
DIRECTIONS FOR SUBMISSION FOR TYPE 3 & TYPE 4 FLYERS:
After reviewing our Flyer Approval Criteria and obtaining any needed facility rentals or approvals, submitters should review PeachJar’s tips and tricks instructional videos to learn how to upload flyers. You will be asked for the following information, so please have it ready:
- Nonprofit Organizations Only: You must first apply to Peachjar’s “” and upload your Tax Exempt ID number and a copy of your IRS Determination Letter. Once approved, you will receive a notification, and your Peachjar will host one flyer every 28 days free of charge.
- To create an account, click and complete the registration form as a "Community Organization.” (This includes for-profit businesses/organizations, government agencies, nonprofits, membership organizations, and parent groups.)
Once your account is created, you can immediately submit electronic flyers by clicking the "Post & Notify" link in your Peachjar account.
- Select which schools you need the flyer sent to
- You may refer to these lists of schools to submit your desired schools:

- When you want to distribute the flyer (you have to select a distribution start and end date on Peachjar)
- Upload a .jpg, .png, or .PDF format, portrait orientation, minimum 12pt font, sized 8.5x11, and no more than 50MB copy of your flyer, which MUST include the following information:
- Who is invited
- What is the event name
- When it will take place (DATE AND START TIME)
- Where it will take place (Include address)
- How to RSVP, register, or purchase tickets if needed
- A contact email, phone number, or website for more information
- Some of our school sites require additional translations according to CA State Ed Code. If possible, please upload a copy of your flyer in the additional languages. If you do not have a specific translation for a school that requires one, you may be contacted by a member of our team to explore options to ensure compliance with the requirements.
- Your uploaded flyer will be sent to our 海棠直播 Unified Communications Department for review and approval to ensure it meets our criteria, and you will receive an email notifying you of the status of the approval.
