Earn money for Fern while doing your grocery shopping!

The makes fundraising easy by donating to Fern PTA based on the shopping you do every day. Once you link your Card to Fern PTA, all you have to do is shop at Ralphs and swipe your Shopper’s Card. Here’s how it works:

1. Create a digital account.

A digital account is needed to participate in Ralph’s Community Contribution Program. If you already have a digital account, simply link your Shopper’s Card to your account so that all transactions apply toward Fern PTA.

2. Link your Card to Fern PTA.

Selecting the organization that you wish to support is as simple as updating the Ralph’s Community Contribution Program selection on your digital account.

Sign in to your digital account.

Search for us . Organization Name: Fern Avenue Parent Teacher Assoc. Organization Number: JH216

Enter the name or NPO number of the organization you wish to support.

Select the appropriate organization from the list and click “Save”.

Your selected organization will also display in the Ralph’s Community Contribution Program section of your account. If you need to review or revisit your organization, you can always do so under your Account details.

3. Fern PTA earns!

Any transactions moving forward using the Shopper’s Card number associated with your digital account will be applied to the program, at no added cost to you. Ralphs donates annually to participating organizations based on your percentage of spending as it relates to the total spending associated with all participating Ralph’s Community Contribution Program organizations.

On your first visit to or AmazonSmile on your Amazon Shopping app, you will be prompted to select a charitable organization to receive donations from eligible purchases before you begin shopping. It will remember your selection, and then every eligible purchase you make on AmazonSmile will result in a donation. After selecting Fern PTA, you can also activate AmazonSmile on the Amazon Shopping app.

HOW TO EARN CASH VIA RECEIPTS AND THE APP

Download the App. Download and access the App via your mobile device. Your wireless service carrier's standard charges, data rates and other fees may apply. In addition, downloading, installing, or using certain mobile services may be prohibited or restricted by your carrier, and not all mobile services may work with all carriers or devices. By using the App, you agree that we may communicate with you regarding the App, in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You agree to only use the App on supported mobile devices that you own or control.

Register for an Account. To earn for your school and access the features of the App you must register for an account. Membership is free. If you are currently a registered member of the Box Tops for Education website () (the “Website”), you must use that established log-in information. If you are not currently registered at the Website, you can register via the App. You can also use the username and password created on the App to log-in on the Website.

Shop. Beginning June 1, 2019, purchase products participating in the Box Tops for Education program. Keep your receipt!

Redeem your Receipt. Redeem the Box Tops for Education earnings from your purchase by scanning your full receipt with the App within 14 days of your date of purchase as indicated on the receipt. You may scan a maximum of 50 receipts per day per registered account.

Receipts dated prior to June 1, 2019 will not be accepted.

How Box Tops Works

  • Every Box Tops clip is worth 10 cents
  • A volunteer Coordinator leads the program at each school
  • Schools can receive two checks every school year. One check in December and one check in April
  • Money earned can be used by schools to buy books, sports equipment, supplies, uniforms or anything they need

How You Can Help

  • Find the Box Tops logo on participating products when you shop
  • Clip Box Tops and save them on a collection sheet
  • Send your Box Tops to your school’s Coordinator 
  • Sign-up as a school supporter on
  • Volunteer to help your Coordinator during key submission periods (October and February)
