Part I: Course Selection Class Presentation

Counselors will deliver presentations to help students understand their options for the 2025-2026 school year:
  • Current 9th to 11th Graders: Presentations will take place during English classes at WHS.
  • Current 8th Graders: Counselors will visit Bert Lynn and Jefferson Middle Schools to present to all 8th-grade students.

Part II: Selecting Courses

The next step is choosing your courses for the upcoming school year.
How to Begin:

Tips for Success:

Part III: Individual Meetings with Students and Counselors

Counselors will meet one-on-one with students to review their course selections and provide personalized recommendations.
 

Who and When:

  • Current Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors: Meetings will take place during English classes at WHS.
  • Current 8th Graders: Meetings will be held at Bert Lynn and Jefferson Middle Schools.

What to Expect During Your Meeting:

  • Review your current academic transcript
  • Check progress toward high school graduation requirements
  • Confirm that you are meeting A-G college entrance requirements
