West High Library Mission Statement

West High Library strives to support the greater mission of the school by encouraging students to be creative, resilient, civically engaged, and responsible citizens. We provide a space that facilitates both independent and collaborative learning, and the library offers a balanced and robust collection of print and online resources that support classroom learning and inspire independent reading and exploration. The librarian collaborates with faculty to teach students the information literacy skills they will need to be informed, responsible, and critical users of information.
